What ho, world!
No, I am not dead, I'm even feeling pretty good right now.

I have managed to break down The Language of Doom (Arabic) into reasonably-sized chunks and am well on my way to WORLD DOMINAYSHUN mastering the language. And I can say "I like chicken", which is awesome. Now I only need "my hovercraft is full of eels" and I'm a happy camper.

I'm also making progress in domesticating this strange five-year-old boy I've seem to have acquired 7 months ago (he claims to be 20 and my boyfriend but I don't believe a word of it). He's even potty trained and all!

Also, in completely unrelated news, I made my boyfriend watch Sherlock Holmes with me and I just kept going on and on and on about how they're totally gaymarried!!1! He then said I only like movies with teh gayzorz, which is obviously not true, as you can see by the following list I have compiled for absolutely no reason and great justice:

I like:
  • American Beauty disqualified because it DOES contain teh ghey whoops
  • Finding Neverland
  • L.A. Confidential *lalalala I cannot hear you, rest of the internet* this is the ONE movie I refuse to view through slash goggles
  • Napoleon Dynamite upon reflection, this movie contains massive levels of gayness
  • um.... at least there's 2! That's more than nothing!

Also... uh. This was actually just a quick drive-by post. I'll be back when I have something real to talk about

Anything has slashiliciousness if you're a slash ficcer. Take note, Boyfriend. Take note.

Also I think it's fabulous that you are learning Arabic. I want to learn the Arabic alphabet as a cipher more than anything, because I'm left-handed and it's the only lefty-friendly alphabet that has a real potential for calligraphy.
